Meet Chief Amuludun Of Odo Aje! Rapper Skepta bags Chieftaincy title in his hometown in Ogun State (Photo/Video)


British-born Nigerian rapper, Skepta, whose real name is Joseph Junior Adenuga has been conferred with a chieftaincy title in his hometown in Ogun State, Nigeria.

The people of Ijebu Ode on April 4, 2018, bestowed on him the title of Chief Amuludun of Odo-Aje following his visit to Nigeria with his supermodel girlfriend, Naomi Campbell.

The award-winning British rapper who shared his excitement on Instagram, wrote:
 'Thank you to the Baale, Chiefs of Odo Aje and King for presenting me with my Chieftaincy title today. I am honoured and will continue to put time and love into Nigeria, especially the community of Odo Aje. Skepta  was born in Tottenham, North London, United Kingdom to immigrant parents from Nigeria.  He's the eldest of four siblings, the family grew up in Meridian Walk Estate, a council estate in Tottenham,
The 35-year-old rapper released his debut studio album 'Greatest Hits' in late-2007 and his second, Microphone Champion in 2009.
His third studio album 'Doin' It Again' was released in 2011 by AATW. His fourth studio album, 'Konnichiwa', which was released in 2016, received wide acceptance and won the 2016 Mercury Music Prize.
